The joint ICMC|SMC|2014 Conference took place in Athens, Greece, from 14 to 20 September 2014 and, for the first time, it brought on the cross-road two well established events: the 40th International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) joint with the 11th Sound & Music Computing conference (SMC). The main theme of the Conference was "Music Technology meets Philosophy: From Digital Echos to Virtual Ethos". Tassos Kolydas designed and implemented the registration system and supported the web server the mail server operation. Preveza Music School's Orchestra performed a concert entitled
Soundtrack / Film Music under the direction of Tassos Kolydas.
The event was held at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Preveza, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 8:00 pm
The event includeded compositions made famous as a film soundtrack by American, British, Italian and Greek cinema.
The program called "Web2.0 applications and IT-tools for projects 2011" was successfully completed. The program was organized and implemented by the Community for schools in Europe "eTwinning". Teachers from several European countries participated.

On May 13, 2011 the final event for the period 2010-2011 was presented by the Preveza Music School. One of musical ensembles that took part in the concert was under the direction of Tassos Kolydas.
The proceedings from the conference entitled Dimitri Mitropoulos (1896-1960): fifty years later were published. The conference, took place at the Athens Concert Hall as part of celebrating 50 years since the death of Dimitri Mitropoulos, organized by the Athens Concert Hall, the Music Library of Greece "Lilian Voudouri" and the journals Musicology and Polyphonia.
Editors of the publication are J. Fulias, J. Belonis, G. Vlastos and T. Kolydas. The publication was funded by the Ionian University and published by Orpheus editions.
