The lecture, which accompanied a classical guitar recital, presents the life and compositional work of Dimitri Fampas: his studies up to the class of Andrés Segovia, his recitals in Greece and in 16 countries, his music for film and his discography. It then examines his works, written exclusively for the guitar, such as the Greek Dances, and closes with the Dimitri Fampas Guitar School.
Presentation. The lecture was given in March 2006, at the tribute to Dimitri Fampas organised by the Municipal Development Enterprise of Drapetsona (DEPAD), together with a recital by two graduates of the Fampas School, Angelos Agkyranopoulos and Eva Fampa.
