The review concerns the Guitar Festival at the Athens Concert Hall (5–11 May 2000), with Egberto Gismonti and the State Orchestra conducted by Leo Brouwer, Kostas Kotsiolis, the duo Evangelos Asimakopoulos – Lisa Zoi and the Duo Assad. Prompted by the duos, it notes that the limited repertoire makes transcription a necessary and provisional solution, until there are enough original works.
